PostSubject: Start the Ball Rolling!   Fri Nov 07, 2008 1:44 am

I took this in Vietnam on my way to the Mekong Delta River (or was I already on the Mekong Delta River?)

It was an awfully hot day.

So I whipped out the camera and took the picture of the bridge which would be completed in 2010.

I changed the white balance to fluorescent to give it the cool purplish colour.

I got a little tired of plain blue skies and just changed the settings in the camera to achieve this effect.

Nonetheless, do let me know your views on this.

(I know it doesnt look like much, but i havent been taking many pictures recently)

Looks good to me. When i 1st saw this image, the bridge at the top left corner immediately brought me to the focus of the pix(ie: the supporting structure). But i feel you would do the picture good by cropping tighter on the right side.

Also, if you're going for the silhouette look, it looks like a half and half.

Take more pix! Waiting to see your albums.

Hahha nice one Raph... i think it looks nice with the fluorescent WB. However i would like it more if it's a silhouette shot and with more contrast & saturation? But other than that lovely shot! Very Happy

as for composition, cant really help it cos i was on a moving boat and stuff. just had to wait for the right moment. no second chances.
